Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She has wavy white hair. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Antinua was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Antinua fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: She prefers to wear green clothing when she does not wear armor. Her hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. Her eyes are likewise silver.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her sword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. Her long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: Volen speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Volen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Volen was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants revenge against brigands

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a tan coat. His auburn hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was born into a rich family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A pudgy man standing about 2'11" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a red coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Calcitro was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Performer. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
