History: Paela was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Wiggens is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
