History: Oriel lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Locksmith, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Elf, and stands approximately 5'2". He is dressed in an above average manner, and his gloved hand is found clutching a nunchaku. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. Halimath enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman is typically in her Knight uniform. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Knight.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears suspenders and white workpants. Her shirt is black, and she wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time. Her head has been shaved. Her gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sarai grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sarai. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Herleva was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
