Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Brug is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortspear use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Brug fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: Phann was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and wants to open a new tavern
