She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She keeps her long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Painter who has hired her part-time. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and wants her loneliness to end

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She is greedy; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He has a missing left arm. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born in the south to a Performer, Bûbol learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bûbol was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. A true patriot, Bertram would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. He now mingles about in high society.
