Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Hatae liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Puyet grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Puyet. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
