History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emmeline fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Az-Rans hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Az-Rans never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He became a Painter soon after.
