History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: She is a pot bellied eastern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. She has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Mayor, her father struggled to pay the bills. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Actor. She tends to her Actor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and wants to work out more often

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his broad tan hat.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a Body Guard, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. Her amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Vola and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He sports white clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Hamil isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Hamil's homeland. Hamil decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
