History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, River has worked very hard to control her curse. She became a Ruler soon after.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Mantus and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Shamash was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Shamash was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
