History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured, marred by beers. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady blue eyes.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Abalaba took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He very much looks the part of a Guard. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his small brown hat.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He prefers to wear pastel clothing when he does not wear armor. His beige fur, when down, is lengthy. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tabaxi in existence. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
