He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Alice and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Purban is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a Painter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to unite with his sister

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born in the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to get a good night's sleep
