History: He was born into a rich family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
