Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His silver hair is thinning but still full. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Jak was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Jak abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to be a butcher again

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Caramip's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She uses divination through singing.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

History: Umpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to unite with his brother
