Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Arannis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Arannis was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ruler. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Ellyjoybell was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ellyjoybell's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
