History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Navigator arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vonana grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vonana. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

Description: This man stands a little under 4'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a grey shirt with thin white vertical stripes and yellow pants. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Orsik wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Orsik has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears an entirely brown suit with pastel socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Avelina hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Avelina lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
