History: Jillian was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. After coming to the age of reason, Jillian took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. The war was a terrible time for her, and Veloptima does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Veloptima was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Veloptima reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has worked as a Sailor like her father before her.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is greedy.
