Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kilvar embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Kilvar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kilvar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and a deep hatred of drow

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is unsatisfied with her job
