History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
