She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Helen abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carpenter for the past few years.

Helen's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.
