History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Naal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He's also a talented Beggar, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born in the east to a Fortune-teller, Emerald learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
