Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Sorath was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Emerald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Engraver. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
