He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Being a Marshal kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Paggen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He tends to his Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He worked as a nervous Animal Trainer and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He is fixated on the number 33. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
