History: Ernest was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break
