He prefers to carry a rapier, but if one is not available he will default to his nunchaku. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Knight kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Cora alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: She is fixated on the number 10. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and further expansion of business
