Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'9" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Beggar. His brown hair is still thick. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: The child of a Interpreter, who enjoyed hunting, Raer was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Raer took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed shortspear, just in case, and his gloved hand is found clutching a shortspear. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She has all her life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Ranala was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 88. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Caeldrim studied abroad. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
