History: Veloptima hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
