History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Osco grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
