History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by unlife.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents enrolled him in a Warlock school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and money/treasure
