Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Sindri enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Sindri studied abroad. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Torinn hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Torinn was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ploughman and was forced into it by his family.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he's looking for his big break
