History: Sammal was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Engong was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Engong grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Engong. Being a Masseuse kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Stylist profession.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
