History: Sumnes was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She wears a brown coat over a white low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon her head. She wears a deerstalker hat to hide her balding. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: Standing 6'3", this man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His fur is brown and very short. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Flame was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is greedy
