History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gilthur was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter.
