History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born in a small island village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Carlin took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shield and armor she uses now. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now owns her own business.
