History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Barfa learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Barfa was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Barfa decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in spear use. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
