History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Manfred took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
