Personality: Shadow is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shadow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Valorean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Hunter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
