He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His hair is cut close to his head. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is a great chef.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shaena fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To protect her home; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is her passion

History: Jane was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and someone believes her a fraud
