Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He married young, but lost his spouse to giants. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Zagga began to lead the lost caravan. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
