History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Beast was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Beast fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Dagnal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Dagnal was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The war was a terrible time for her, and Virra does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.
