History: Kava was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Kipper was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He found a children's book about a Gnome Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
