The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and she desires power and/or immortality
