Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thradal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thradal. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Jelenneth was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jelenneth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She found a children's book about a Elf Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and to prove her worth to the world

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a very tight haircut. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hoshgrish was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
