History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

History: Born in the north to a Brewer, Maiathah learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Elama does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Elama was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was born into a rich family. Cloak was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Cloak decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.
