History: Born to a Miner, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nim. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.
