Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Whurdred was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Brewer. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Whurdred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the north to a Body Guard, Ootah learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and balancing her hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Eberdeb and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge
