Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Layabout business.

History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Lorm learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
