History: Born to a Barber, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Grom alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Charles's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Charles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
