History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Cagak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has all her life been fascinated with dancing.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
