Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears light armors faded through time and improper care. She wears her auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. Pyntle enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Pyntle was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is dark but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. His hair is short and silver. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Hatae is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Hatae was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to be a miller again
