History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and wants her loneliness to end

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her first spouse was a Bounty Hunter, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many goblins want her driven away
